Is online dating outdated in 2012?

Online dating, or Internet dating, is not a new word for singles. Probably you tried one or more dating service just now, or a few days ago. But in the year of 2012, do you think those who are still registered with online dating networks are too old fashioned? Do you also think the best online dating time has passed?

For different people, the answer may be different. Statistics from an online interview of WantMillionaire Dating, 60.4% of the interviewee believed that Internet dating is still the best place for finding a match, or relationship. At the same time, free dating is still the most attractive words. According to their feedbacks, "date a millionaire free for women"  and "date a millionaire free for men" are a few of the most searched keywords when they search online.

On the other hand, not everyone is so optimistic with online dating. About 22.6% of the interviewee believed that online dating is no longer working, although they've paid lots of efforts in searching someone online. About 14% of these people ave the intention to quit online dating if they can't find the right one later. A 27-year-old lady told us, she has tried online dating for about 2 years. At the very beginning, she was on match.com, upgraded a 12 months package and sent lots of emails out, what she get is no response or response for sexual request, which makes her quite dissatisfied with the largest online dating site. Then she tried the largest free dating site POF.com. There she received lots of emails, it turns out that many of them are fake or fraud. "Online dating is a nightmare for me. I think I will return to traditional dating, which may work better for me", Jane told us. However, just very few interviewee agree with Jane's idea, while most of them believed that Jane is too pessimistic and didn't use online dating properly.
